Did you know corn, which is found in most grocery store food, is a high allergy ingredient?  Do you even want to know what "chicken or beef digest" is?  Well, it's just what it sounds like.  Yes, it's true that dog's and cat's digestive systems can handle much more than ours, but these ingredients do much more harm in other ways.  I see quite a few dogs with allergy and skin issues that could be, at least, improved with a better diet. 

Your dog can't make it's own meals, so it's up to you to provide the best possible food for him.  Just like us, a better diet could add years to his life.
